How it works

The first step is to conduct a thorough inspection
of your property to determine where rodents are
active, where they may be entering and what
conditions are contributing to the infestation. From
there, we develop a rodent control plan that
includes three key components:

Sanitation

When rodents have food and shelter, they’re
difficult to get rid of. Sanitation recommendations
include eliminating trash and debris, regularly
moving tall weeds or grass near your facility and
sealing entry to trash receptacles.

Exclusion

Rodents can enter a building through an opening
of ¼”. Exclusion recommendations include
covering vents, securing gaps around loose pipes
and adding metal kick plates to doors that rodents
might gnaw through.

Prevention

Preventative rodent devices are key to minimizing
infestations and are needed for facilities following
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). These
devices include snap traps, catch traps and/or bait
stations.
