Staying ahead of flies.
Flies can get in anytime someone walks through the door of your business. They can live in drains, thrive
on waste and threaten your reputation. That’s why Terminix® Commercial has a battery of smart tools
designed to invisibly and effectively remove these winged pests from your environment.
How it works
Terminix Commercial can work with you to create
a custom solution, including services such as
ultraviolet Insect Light Traps (ILTs). These traps
attract flies and then capture them with a glue trap
or a catch tray.
Based on your facility, as well as government
regulations affecting your industry, Terminix will
help you determine the proper type and placement
of ILTs in your facility.
- Insect Light Traps
Wall Mount — Placed where most flies generally fly, within five feet of the floor.
Ceiling Mount — Night-flying insects fly higher. Ceiling-mounted ILTs are also good for areas with narrow hallways where a wall unit may be obtrusive.
Freestanding — For shelves and counters, freestanding ILTs offer greater flexibility in placement.
Wall Sconce — Decorative ILTs can be placed in public areas such as the dining rooms or public areas of hospitals and hotels. - Terminix Natural

Flies that are attracted to the outside of your facilities are more likely to move inside. Here are some tips to help control the presence of flies around your business:
Keep outside dumpster areas clean and discard trash in plastic bags whenever possible.
Place trash receptacles as far from the building as possible to keep flies away from your door.
Install self-closing devices on doors or use screens or strip curtains where appropriate. Keep doors and windows closed whenever possible. Make sure that all edges of doors and windows have tight weather stripping.
What it means for your business

reactive position. Rather than trying to kill flies that
are already disturbing your environment, Terminix
Commercial Fly Control helps assure that flies don’t
become an issue in the first place.
